Our Work and Vision

We focus our investments on programs that demonstrate tangible results for children and families who are vulnerable to poor outcomes. In the communities where we invest, our vision is for children to:

• live in thriving, stable homes with strong, nurturing and resilient families;
• achieve academically in school; and,
• become self-sufficient, successful adults.

Our mission and vision are based on long-standing values that inform the work we do at the Freddie Mac Foundation. We believe:

• families who are struggling can thrive when they are supported within healthy communities with adequate and safe housing with comprehensive services;
