Our Mission
As a major corporate funder in the Washington, DC region, Freddie Mac and the Foundation have invested more than $348 million to create stable homes and communities. Since 1991, the Foundation has improved the lives of tens of thousands of children and their families.
The Foundation works to make home a place where vulnerable children and their families can thrive.
Our Work and Vision
We focus our investments on programs that demonstrate tangible results for children and families who are vulnerable to poor outcomes. In the communities where we invest, our vision is for children to:
- live in thriving, stable homes with strong, nurturing and resilient families;
- achieve academically in school; and,
- become self-sufficient, successful adults.
