The Freddie Mac Foundation is now accepting online grant applications for the March 1 deadline.
The Foundation funds programs in the areas of Stable Homes, Stable Families; Foster Care and Adoption; and Academic and Career Success that address one of our Foundation outcomes. Before completing your application, please review the:
Online Applications
There is a $50,000 limit for unsolicited requests. Requests for over $50,000 are by invitation only.
Only programs that meet one or more of the Foundation's outcomes will be considered for funding. There is a $50,000 limit for unsolicited requests. Requests for over $50,000 are by invitation only.

Direct Service Projects and General Operating Support – This application is for requests that have a primary goal of providing direct services to children, youth and their families.

Public Awareness/Education – This application is for projects whose primary intent is to raise public awareness and promote education of issues related to one of our Foundation outcomes.
Two other types of grants are by invitation only:
- Capital Projects – Capital funding supports new construction, acquisitions, renovations and major equipment purchases.
- Capacity Building – Supports organizations that seek to increase their effectiveness and enhance their sustainability. The Foundation only makes capacity building grants to current grantees. If you are a grantee and are interested in applying for a capacity building grant, please contact the Foundation.
Grant Deadlines
Proposals must be submitted online by midnight Eastern Standard Time (EST) on the date indicated below. Attachments - letter(s) of commitment (if applicable) and audited financials (if available) - must be postmarked on the same date.
