Freddie Mac Foundation's 10 for 10 A Unique Gift for Children on our 10th Birthday
The Freddie Mac Foundation recently commemorated 10
years of giving to the Washington, DC community with a unique
celebration.
The 10 for 10 program celebrated the magic of children by opening
the doors of 10 of the Washington, DC metro area's most exciting
and enriching institutionsfree to the community.
Children and families had great fun at Disney on Ice, climbed a
rock wall at Discovery Creek, experienced fine art at the Corcoran
and learned more about our community at the Black Fashion Museum.
Thousands of families took part in the fun and discovery throughout
October and November.
For the past decade, Freddie Mac and the Freddie Mac Foundation
have given more than $100 million, opening doors for 1.2 million
children and their families throughout the Washington, DC region
and beyond.

Meeting
the cast of Disney on Ice Toy Story 2 before the show.
The
cake and music was only part of the fun at Discovery Creek Childrens
Museum. Children learned about owls, snakes and other animals
through live demonstrations. They scaled the rock climbing wall,
and explored ecosystems by the creek.
