$800K Freddie Mac Foundation investment to help Montgomery County, MD homeless children and families:
Our grant to Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless will support a permanent supportive housing program. This 'housing first' program relocates families directly from homelessness to permanent, subsidized housing with social services provided. Learn more.
$500K Foundation grant to Doorways for Women and Families for a new shelter and support services for women and families.
Doorways for Women and Families along with the Freddie Mac Foundation and Congressman Jim Moran unveiled the newly built Freddie Mac Foundation Family Home. The Arlington shelter will provide safe, temporary housing and intensive support services to homeless women and families within Arlington County and the DC region.
